Our studio, founded by Ömer Faruk Polat with former co-founder and the design advisor İkbal Polat, both graduates of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, has been actively engaged in design, application, and construction since 2018. With a solid foundation in architectural education and practical experience, we bring a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to each project. Based in Istanbul, our portfolio spans different variety of architectural experience. İkbal, currently pursuing her PhD at METU and working as a research assistant at Gebze Technical University, brings her sensitivity to urban context and spatial perception. Ömer, while continuing his MA at ITU, incorporates his close ties in the steel industry, enhancing our sensitivity to materiality and excellence in construction. Our collaboration thrives on a shared aesthetic vision and the dynamic balance of our unique perspectives.

PHILOSOPHY
Our vision prioritizes action over discourse, even as we draw from rich academic backgrounds. We believe that our work stands as its own testimony, with each project embodying its unique life, spirit, and fate. The design process is guided not by our imposition but by the inherent needs and character of the project itself—by what the project “wants.” As architects, we see our role as adding a “PostScript” to a narrative already in motion, dictated by the material, the tectonics, the history, the place. Each project tells its own story, which we can only reiterate, leaving our mark as a final, subtle note. We simply attach a PostScript into a script that unfolds through the project’s own essence and destiny.
